Get your website copy right
Your website is your online business shop front.
It needs to achieve so much for it to successfully communicate with your target audience.
It should accurately describe what you offer, why your expertise is the best choice and clearly reflect your values and brand identity.
It’s no small ask to get all of this ‘just right’.
Where to start for a great website
An amazing brand and website designer can be invaluable when it comes to the design and functionality of your site. But don’t be alarmed, if you aren’t in the financial position to hire someone to do it for you, plenty of website providers have amazing customer service and easy to follow ‘how-to’ videos to help you get set up on your own.
Why not take a look at Squarespace or Wordpress.
The next hurdle is going to be your copy, what your website actually SAYS to your online visitors.
Even if you’re pretty confident with writing, talking about ourselves doesn’t always come all that naturally. Perhaps we are too close to the subject, our businesses are often our pride and joy and it’s easy to make assumptions about how much people will know or understand.
